Directory updates! Check your directory entry today!

The VIPs are meeting for lunch and fellowship on Friday, August 18 at 11:30 a.m. at Ruby Tuesday. Please call Sarah Allred to RSVP or if you have questions. Everyone is welcome!

Have extra plastic grocery bags laying around? We can use them for a project at Messy Church on 8/19. Drop them off next Sunday or during the week in the church office.

The PW Horizon Bible Study Group will be meeting the 2nd Wednesday of each month starting in September at 10:00 a.m. rotating between Radcliff and First Presbyterian Church. We will be studying Sacred Encounters: The Power & Presence of Jesus Christ in Luke & Acts. Please contact Becky Brecht at 270-234-6562 if you would like a book for $10 each.

Pastor Chelsea will be serving as camp chaplain at Pyoca’s Weekend at the Lake September 1-4, Labor Day weekend. It is open to individuals and families of all ages! Join us at camp for a fun-filled weekend relaxing at Pyoca's waterfront where you can swim, boat, fish, and enjoy all that Creation has to offer. Pyoca is in Brownstown, IN, a little over an hour and a half from Etown. There are options to stay in cabins, tents, or your RV, and you can stay for two or three nights. You can also even just come for the day on Saturday. Scholarships are available through FPC. Talk to Pastor Chelsea for more info!

Do you want to help an amazing non-profit that has been serving their neighbors in need for 52 years? Helping Hand of Hope helps with emergency assistance such as food, hygiene, pet food, rental, utility, transient, medical gas, beds for children, affordable Christmas services and more. They are having a fundraiser brunch on Saturday, August 19, at 11:00 am. All funds raised go back to these amazing programs serving neighbors in need. Tickets are available at www.helpinghandofhope.org.

Have you seen our lovely, renewed parking lot?! Paving a parking lot is a hefty cost but provides critical access to our building for us, the Montessori preschool, and the numerous community groups that use our building. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Equipping to Serve capital campaign several years ago, which financed a good portion of this project, and thank you to everyone who gives to the church in general! Finally, a big thanks goes to the members of our Stewardship Team who coordinated this project—Trustees Bob Swope and Jim Barnard, elder Anne Swope, and Treasurer Dani Cole. Your work is very appreciated!
