Next Sunday is Pentecost! This is a church holiday celebrating the coming of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the church, as told in Acts 2. The color for the day is red, to symbolize the Holy Spirit. You’re invited to wear red if you would like!

A new sound system is coming! Take heart, all ye who like to hear the worship service! Session has voted to contract with Stilwell Sound to install a new sound system in the sanctuary. This is very needed and should enhance our worship experience considerably and make it much more accessible to all. Many thanks to the Worship Team for their hard work on getting this project rolling!
Help is needed for the Heart of KY Men’s Chorus Spring Show “Beatlemania”. For the concession stand, homemade cookies, brownies, sandwiches, snacks, etc. are needed. The food will be collected the first week in June to be sold during the show. Also, volunteers are needed to work the concession stand on June 11.
FPC will have a table at the annual community Children’s Fair on Saturday, June 11, in the morning. Sit with Chelsea and meet the community! Sign up on the back of the connection card.

Calling all cookie bakers! The Worship Team is requesting cookie donations to be used as gifts for visitors to worship. If you are able to make cookies, just drop them at the church office, and they will be frozen for future distribution.
