Commit to our Vision for 2025
First Presbyterian Church 2025 Pledge
This fall, as we reflect on the blessings in our lives and the transformative work happening in our community, I am excited to share how God is working in our midst at First Presbyterian Church and to invite you to support this transformative mission.
Our community is centered on the grace we know in Jesus Christ. Grace is not merely a gift but God's invitation to a relationship that can change our lives and transform the world. We are blessed to see grace at work here, and in 2024 God’s grace surrounded us as we:
-
Hired two new childcare attendants to support our growing community of families with babies and toddlers
-
Provided online worship access for members and visitors. Members who are ill, out of town, or dealing with sick kids regularly join us online. Several people this year have said that they checked us out online for weeks or even months before deciding to visit in-person. Our worship also includes people who live as far away as California!
-
Invested in our Messy Church congregation—One recent Messy Church had participants from 18 different families! Only 3 of those families were “brand new,” as our Messy Church members keep inviting their friends!
-
Provided $14,000 to support organizations making a difference in the world
We are so glad you are a part of this community, and your presence is a gift to us. We invite you to prayerfully consider making a commitment to participate with others in the congregation in funding the ministry of this church for 2025.
Below you will find the link to share your Estimate of Giving with us. These estimates help us plan and allocate resources effectively to further God’s work through our church. Your Estimate of Giving can be updated at any time, as we all know that sometimes life happens and plans change.
Together, we are investing in a future where First Presbyterian Church can continue to witness to God’s extravagant, inclusive love for all.
Thank you again for being a part of our community!
In Christ's love,
Pastor Chelsea
