In the Life of the Church

You’re invited to worship on Sunday, December 31 at 10:00 am. This will be a casual service, and you’re welcome to wear pajama pants and Christmas sweaters. Come and worship the newborn Christ child with us!

Pastor Chelsea is on vacation December 25-January 2. Contact the office if you need assistance.

The church office is closed Monday, December 25 & Monday, January 1.

In case of worship cancellation due to inclement weather, FPC will send out a text, email, and post to our Facebook page. If you would like to sign up to receive the text, use the phone you wish to receive texts on and text “fpc” to 270-200-8560. You will automatically be signed up for texts. Let Pastor Chelsea know if you have questions.

Thank you to everyone who helped out with and prayed for our first two weeks hosting Room in the Inn! Our next night is January 2, 2023. If you are interested in serving in any capacity or have questions, contact Joy Swope. (swopeje@hotmail.com)

We will be collecting the Christmas Joy Offering through the end of December. The Christmas Joy Offering has been a cherished Presbyterian tradition since the 1930s. The Offering distributes gifts equally to the Assistance Program of the Board of Pensions and to Presbyterian-related schools and colleges equipping communities of color. Offering envelopes are in the pew racks.
